The Association of Fruit and Vegetable Producer-Exporters of the Region of Murcia (Proexport) will strengthen its international positioning through its prominent participation in Fruit Logistica 2026, taking place from 4 to 6 February in Berlin, under the slogan "Spanish Growers You Can Trust".
"Once again, our stand aims to be a meeting point for clients from all over the world who are looking for reliable suppliers capable of guaranteeing continuity of supply, quality and service during the key campaigns of the year", says Proexport President Mariano Zapata. "Fruit Logistica connects markets, innovation and people, and in that space Spain and our member producers play a leading role" he adds.
26 member companies with a diverse production offering
Proexport will be present within the Region of Murcia grouped space (Hall 18 Stand C40), a strategic location from which to showcase the strength of its business network and its ability to respond to the needs of European and international markets.
Twenty member companies will be exhibiting in this area: Agrícola Santa Eulalia, Agrodolores El Mirador, Agromontes Fresh Group, Fruveg Sdad Coop, G´s España, Hortiberia, Kettle Produce España, Mercagrisa, Procomel, Agridemur Marketing, Agrupapulpí, Bonnysa, Deilor, Cricket, Prove, Hortofortini, Natveg, Primaflor, Soltir and Verdimed.
In addition, six other Proexport member companies will be exhibiting individually in other halls of the fair: Grupo Hortofrutícola Paloma, Difrusa Export and Fruca Marketing (Hall 11.2); Agrar Systems (Hall 20); OP Looije (Hall 1.2); and OP Agromark (Hall 10.2).
A key event to renew trust
"Fruit Logistica is a key event to convey to international markets that Proexport brings together reliable, well-prepared suppliers with a long-term vision of commercial relationships" Zapata points out. He emphasises that member companies "offer real solutions to face the upcoming spring and summer campaign with guarantees, both in open-field and greenhouse production".
In this regard, Proexport Managing Director Fernando P. Gómez notes that "this fair allows us to showcase a complete, solid and well-structured horticultural offering through to the end of the season, capable of adapting to current international market demands". Gómez adds that "the concentration of companies at the Region of Murcia stand, with vegetable, citrus and fruit varieties, makes it easier for buyers to find strategic partners for the entire season in one single space".
He also highlights the start of the highly valued California and Lamuyo pepper production in the Region of Murcia from March onwards, as well as the presence of melon and watermelon producers from June, "recognised in the markets for the excellence of the flavour of the varieties they grow and for the highly professional and reliable service they provide to their clients".
Fruit Logistica will hold its 33rd edition this year, with a strong international focus as its main hallmark, bringing together around 2,600 exhibitors from nearly 90 countries and professional visitors from more than 150 nations.
The Association of Fruit and Vegetable Producer-Exporters of the Region of Murcia (PROEXPORT) is made up of 60 groups of agricultural companies, cooperatives and auction houses dedicated to the production and marketing of conventional and organic fruit and vegetables. With combined production exceeding 1.5 million tonnes, their products are marketed in international markets in more than 50 countries, generating 28,000 direct jobs. Together with its members, Proexport develops advanced programmes in social responsibility, healthy eating promotion in schools and environmental sustainability, for which it has received various national and international awards.
